Who Needs Consulting
I help retailers who want to sell on the eBay platform or who have tried in the past and have not been as successful as they feel they could be. eBay is an excellent channel to sell your inventory and it is possible to sell at retail on the site. If your expansion strategy includes the over two hundred million member worldwide eBay community and you would like to avoid some of the pitfalls and shorten your learning curve, I can help. eBay can also be used as a marketing tool to bring new customers to your existing brick and mortar location and your website. I have consulted with several Seattle area retailers on entering the eBay marketplace. I started working with antique shops and have since helped art galleries, book sellers, a toy store and other retailers. Non-profits can also use eBay for fund raising and can sell a variety of products including experiences, donated merchandise and event tickets.
What I offer
I can cover the basics of selling on eBay all the way to advanced branding strategies. I specialize in enabling organizations sell at retail on eBay by creating an image that represents trust and knowledge resulting in higher sell through rates and final values. I can advise on scalability and have experience with warehousing and inventory control. I can help recreate your existing brand specificity for the eBay marketplace. We will set up a system to efficiently process transactions which will enable you to obtain the profit margins you are accustomed to. I consult in person and phone in the Seattle area and am willing to travel. I can consult on an hourly basis if you are researching the marketplace and also have a weekly rate and will devote my time to helping you succeed. If you already are selling on the internet a week may be all you need but most retailers will do best with two full weeks of my on site help.
